MEET THE team
Kimberly A. Savage, LVN
After completing nursing school in 1992, I was employed by Memorial City General Hospital (now Memorial Hermann Memorial City) working in Med/Surg for 2 years and then in PACU for 2 years. In 1996, I moved to work at an ambulatory day surgery center in Preop/PACU.
While working at the surgery center, I was recruited by a Plastics and Reconstructive surgeon in 1999 as his office nurse, and in 2005 I also added the role as his office manager. Upon the retirement of this physician in 2012, I too retired. Fast forward to 2017 where I was recruited by AAI as their training manager. I enjoy this part-time position and working with this great team.
I have four adult children and two fur babies. In my spare time, I enjoy being a CASA volunteer (Court Appointed Special Advocate for a child in the foster system), volunteering in the children’s ministry at our church, church choir, playing golf, painting, reading, and traveling the world with my husband, David.
Mayra Guardado has been providing administrative support to the AAI team since 2013, overseeing all administrative and scheduling functions as Office Manager.
At sixteen, she began working at Supercuts as a receptionist and after graduating from Northbrook High School, she honed her customer service skills when she transitioned to Office Administrator for Sullivan’s Steakhouse. After taking a hiatus as a stay at home mother to raise her son, Mayra returned to the workforce in her current position with AAI, once he started elementary school. She’s fluent in Spanish, and is always looking to brush up her language skills over coffee or drinks.
A Houston, Texas native, Mayra has lived here all her life. She enjoys spending family time with her friends, mother and siblings and ten year old son Jayden, who keeps her pretty busy year-round on either the baseball fields or basketball courts in addition to beach trips and museums and many other activities. In Mayra’s free time, she enjoys shopping, traveling and relaxing by even the smallest body of water.
My name is Laura Villalobos and I joined the AAI family in January 2018. I am responsible for our scheduling and the experience you receive when you call into our office.
I am grateful to work in a caring environment where we are always evolving and acquiring new knowledge. I reside in West Houston, with my husband Nelson, and our dog Blue. We are expecting our first child this spring, and are ecstatic to enter the realm of parenting.
Outside of the office, I enjoy practicing yoga and spending time with family and friends.
